* Today's mother and toddlers group went well, Beatrice (one biscuit, one piece of apple, one piece of birthday cake) has developed a sandpit obsession. Ryan (half a piece of birthday cake) only spent the last forty minutes of it on my lap.

cuthbertcross's wedding preparations (the buying of dresses, etc.) are also going well. Despite having the indifferent-to-fashion combination of angry_marmot and myself as the clothes shopping posse. No more details in case Emily's Uncle dr_bob (adopted) is reading.* My parents have offered to take the twins off my hands for a long weekend (the Hornsey Family Birthday Weekend) in March.
* Athory is going well (a write-up to follow sometime soon).

Date: 2004-02-16 03:31 am (UTC)Odd. It's now only a week away from the supposed release date, and there still seems to be some disagreement between the sites as to when it is actually out.
The main FFX2 european launch site (http://www.ffx2-europe.com/) lists it as 20th Feb, as does the 13th Feb edition of MCV (the games retail trade magazine).
However, both Amazon and Play are now listing it as 12th March. Maybe they have just sold out. :)

Date: 2004-02-11 08:19 am (UTC)It's a very common mistake (assuming I'm the "Liz" you called her), so she probably is still talking to you ;-) Makes no sense to me, but I've done it, too (and so has she), and it's now a running joke that we're actually the same person. Hence this icon ;-)
Oh, and is there a gap in that weekend in March to have another go at the snow-spoiled plans?

Date: 2004-02-12 06:00 am (UTC)I am moderately good at forgetting people's faces too. Plus I'm terrible with names (both remembering them and, in some cases, pronouncing them). It was a problem at work, someone would come up to me and start chatting as though they'd known me all their/my working life and I'd be thinking Who the **** are you anyway ?.
