We had an Awayday which included a scavenger hunt in the middle of the day. Too hot. But we did come second.

Song of Farca is cyber punk and about hacking investigations. I found it addictive and dark. And as I got it on a 90% sale it was also less than two quid for eleven hours of game. Recommended.

I've finished Old Skies: excellent, enjoyable story, good puzzles and a lead character in whom I became emotionally invested.

I enjoyed Strange Horticulture - it's an occult puzzle game based around identifying plants.

I've recently played Orwell: Keeping An Eye on You. It's got interesting gameplay and moral choices and is indeed named for the author.

To celebrate my 55th birthday (tomorrow), Dom and I went to Wildflowers for the first time. It was established by some of the former staff of Trinity, which is a favourite for us. Food and drink were awesome.

Last night we watched Missing on Netflix. It's a rather good mystery film which works with computer devices and skills - but rather more realistically than many hacker films. It helps that the main performance (Storm Reid as June) is excellent. Watchable, interesting and I'm now wanting to see Searching (which preceded it, but I understand the two movies are standalone).

I played The Operator over the weekend - it's a short (4ish hour) puzzle game where you are an operator in an Intelligence office working with agents. It has interesting puzzles and is rather dark. It's on the short side - but otherwise great.
