That Box Sheep as Improved by Venta
Mar. 4th, 2004 01:24 pmSee here for details.
Box 1
The box itself is made of a dark wood, most likely rosewood or teak, carefully sanded and varnished to a smooth finish. Inside it is divided neatly into two sections, both dust-free and tidy.
The first section contains an Oxford Dictionary, a calculator, a set of car keys, a mobile phone and a small make-up box - the type where everything is compacted into one small box.
The second section contains two boxes of good quality playing cards (one stacked on the other), a set of matching dice, a stack of hardbacked books - a volume of The Canterbury Tales (unabridged) sits on the top, two bottles of good wine (one white, one red) and a set of computer games (Planescape Torment being the top title).
Box 2
This is a wooden chest, lined with metal and complete with a padlock. Inside the contents are stacked carefully to fit everything in.
On the left-hand side is a set of Prisoner DVDs, the complete Babylon 5 on video and an impressive collection of games (ranging from Final Fantasy to Star Wars to Command and Conquer).
On the right-hand side is a collection of science fiction books, a set of GURPs books, an ex-mother board, a pocket watch and a large number of d10s all lying on top of a folded waistcoat.
At the very bottom of the chest rattles a large number of coins ranging from 1 to 50 pence pieces.
And three more after lunch.
