First Entry of the New Year

A bit of quick updatery.

We went back to Cambridge and spent a couple of days with each set of parents. It was stress-free, there was plenty of wonderful food (am I the only person who likes a turkey roast ?) and the twins had a great time with lots of lovely new toys (including the castle and the mobile phone). I now own a copy of "Jade Cocoon 2" (a review later in the week), some new perfume, earrings and plenty of books. New Year was spent with cuthbertcross and dr_bob, but plenty has been said about that already.

Bea caught a bad cold (probably from bateleur's brother), so we worried about her nasty cough (because she has "Chronic Lung Disease" aka spent a month on a ventilator). However the doctor said she was going to recover without chest infection complications, and then she did.

Having looked at last year's resolutions (I scored about 1/2 out of 3), I'm not making any for this year. Nothing I plan to write down anyway. Instead I'm looking forward to the next month.

* The first "Mother and Toddler" session on Thursday
* Sending (some of) Book Two off for a competition
* Some joint game planning with bateleur
* Sorting out a Patchwork Universe

The Rest of the Month

* Preparing Book Three to go to publishers in February
* The "Week without the Twins" (only 19 days to go !)
* Summoner (kindly lent by cardinalsin)



Plus I must get around to renewing the "paid" status of my account. Probably.
