In any event, I remember once finding lots of feathers in my backyard, next to the neighbour's fence - known to have a large outdoor cat. Happened another time again too. Sorted when they got a dog though. :-)
I think you'll find it's due to the genes of your cat... Given the levels of carnal knowledge that Sophie (Emily's mummy cat, for other readers) managed, the reason should be apparent: Em isn't a gangsta; she's a Madam! If you look behind the little bushes and picket fence at the bottom of your garden, you'll find several teeny tiny little calling cards with things like "Hot tabby. Own collar." written on them, and your telephone number!!
