Bea's Progress and Other Things

Bea went for her six monthly check-up this morning.
Everyone agreed that she was progressing very well. She was toddling around, doing all the expected baby things. She's going to continue to do the monthly physiotherapy until her February appointment (technically her second birthday) and then, hopefully, that will be that. They also measured her head again - still the biggest.
Ryan, in contrast, threw a bit of a tantrum everytime his wishes were thwarted (quite a lot in fact). Although that was nothing compared to the screaming fit he had when I had to change his nappy (he picked a bad day to poo twice in one morning).
And as for the weekend,
bateleur's Swordsmaster game was on the Saturday.
Back over in Monde, it was rather strange to play Rosaline (my new Guardian) rather than Imogen. And very odd indeed to hear of the Volcano Lords (so long after that campaign had ended). I may have lost all my fate points, but at least she's still alive. And we still have the Mandala Key.
It's a pity, really, that the Fourth had raised an army and, after invading Tointier, proceeded to advance on the Great Forge. So, having made the all-important key, Ghol ordered the destruction of the Forge (and succeeded in this mission). Of course we also have an army now. And a general too. Although I would be happier about the general if he hadn't spent much of the earlier campaign chained to a wall inside his Tie.
What else ? Well, as ever, I'm concentrating on finishing book number two (for which I need a name) whilst juggling with babies and hiding from the heat. I'm counting down the days until the twins go off to Cambridge again (two or three depending on how it's measured) and making vague plans for things to do in their absence.
And Final Fantasy VIII has reached disc three.

And my book needs a longer name than that.
