Parcel !

An unexpected arrival appeared on my doorstep today. A parcel from the States sent by one unknownid addressed to Beatrice and Ryan.

Inside, there are two sets of five tins of increasing size containing the ingredients needed to permanently record the twins development across the next five years. OK, we've missed the first birthday by a little way, but we should manage the rest - no problem.

For those of you who are still mystified - it's a hand-print recording set (or casting set, I'm waiting for bateleur before I fully investigate).

I'm so glad you like it (and that it got there in the appropriate number of pieces...) I think this is sort of a personal record for me as far as tardiness goes, but I totally blame Marshall Fields.

If you wait a few weeks, you can take a pen and write "1.5" on the first one.

It's sort of a selfish gift, since I know I'll probably see them infrequently and I want a record!
