lathanyTwo interesting episodes, the Angel one moving the plot forward at some speed.
The Killer In Me
Anyone else sick of Warren ? Maybe it's just me. A nice idea, but I was grateful when it was finally over. Otherwise a good appearance from Amy - who could come back again - and a little more development of the Willow-Kennedy relationship.
Otherwise, the answer to the "Is it Giles ?" question (probably, anyway - how do you recover from an axe blow to the head ?) and the exit of the chip (that's my guess anyway). A pity they couldn't bring Riley back for that bit (who I like seeing, outside of the main cast), but otherwise pretty good. I quite liked the episode, but it will never be a favourite of mine.
Oh and one last thing - did they use the X-Files set for that Buffy and Spike vs Initiative monster fight ? Did the lighting have to be that bad ?
Calvary
The ending would have been more of a surprise had I not recently fallen foul of an unmarked spoiler. Never mind, still good stuff and adding a great twist to the Angel storyline. Hopefully the actual characters won't remain in the dark too long (although, credit where credit is due, the writers tend to be pretty good at not stretching these things out).
I was sorry to see Lilah go; really sorry. However the idea of the Beast being the "muscle" (or the "rock", in this case) was very plausible. I was relieved to see Gunn and Fred finally split although, sadly, the angst is unlikely to stop there.
Not much other news. Bea's battle scars from yesterday are very visible. Plus I have had to change the twins twice already this morning due to a double dose of grimmest nappy. And that's probably too much information already.

I answered that two weeks ago. What we got this week was an answer to the question "Does their continuity editing suck outrageously ?" Fortunately not in this case.
