It may eventually go near a publisher, but it wasn't written with that in mind. By which I mean; I want to get published, but I never thought my first book would be a winner.
This was based on comments from published authors of which the most quoted is "You need to write about a million words before you become publishable". OK, I'm sure that the million is a rough estimate which includes various short stories and other writing projects (my horribly cliched Clans stuff for example), but certainly Mourn's Gift improved as it went on (I re-wrote the beginning and the start required much more editing in general). My second book (for which the working title is Replay) opens much more smoothly.
"There are only two known copies of Mourn's Gift in existence; both are in a private collection in Feltham, Middlesex in the United Kingdom. We very much hope that someday this work will be made more widely available for the edification and enjoyment of all."
