Not a moorhen

This morning, I tried to get a picture of a moorhen. But the moorhen wasn't having any of it. So here's a picture of the walk instead.



We're creeping closer to Xmas and I still feel as though there is lots to do. But then December is always like that.

That looks muddy but nice! Birds can be most disagreeable about being photographed, I find.

It's one of my short, nearby walks. And it's very muddy at the moment, but still pleasant.
