Carol singer

Our window was a child carol singer.

Today I made mince pies. Christmas is so much about eating and drinking that I wanted to make these early enough that we weren't already full of seasonal things.

I thought you were just going to get birds for the rest of the year! I like picture advent calendars and rather wish I had one.

This one is nice because the windows open to make a change to the existing picture. I had one like that before when I was a kid and it's nice to have one again. Yes, we've also noticed all the birds, but with a lack of Christmas specific ones, like robins!
