Blood

Today I went out, mask in hand, to give blood. It was a weird experience with the social distancing and, as my first experience of the mask, it was not a pleasant one (I'm going to get a different mask, I think). Some things were as before though - my blood needing a second test before it was deemed OK and the drink and biscuit at the end were the usual squash and mint Club.

I'm going to give blood next week! How was it, re the social distancing?

The social distancing was fine other than the mask being uncomfortable. We stood 2 metres apart before going in and all the waiting areas (before the nurse check, after the nurse check and at the end) were set up two metres apart. A bit weird compared to usual, but not that different. Best of luck with yours!
