Kingfisher

lathanyI have a December tradition of trying to post on every day in the month. I rarely get all the days (particularly if I'm away at any point), but I tend to get most. This year I plan to put my posts on Fbook as well as other social media (the tradition is from LJ).
Today's advent calendar window was a kingfisher. Not very Xmassy, but the calendar is a winter scene and the windows, to some extent, are trying to fit with that.
My main job of the day was to produce Ryan's birthday cake. It's now finished, other than candles (and Dom did the coloured icing).
