Flowers

Today Bea bought me some flowers as she knew I'd been having a bad week. Unfortunately Reeve thought they were for him. After he'd bitten off one bud and I caught him trying to chew another, I put them on the shelves at the top of the stairs where he can't reach.



I've been scanning the weather forecast for the next ten days in the hopes of more snow. Sadly, it doesn't seem likely.

That's so sweet! You know you're doing a good job raising them when they surprise you like that.:-)

We can't keep cut flowers, either. If they don't fit on the kitchen window sill, they have to go on top of the refrigerator, and then you can't really see them. But otherwise, the cats will get at them, and even if they are a variety that isn't poisonous to them, they'll still make a big mess knocking over the vase!
