Last night we watched season one of The Booth at the End and then Howl's Moving Castle.
The former was excellent. It's very simple and must have been extremely cheap to make. However, it's a lovely concept and well-written. I'm reluctant to say much about it as more or less anything is a spoiler, but it's somewhat speculative fiction and the lead, Xander Berkeley, is excellent in his role as... well, that's really the question.
The latter was pretty good as well. I do prefer the book (Diana Wynne Jones) but the film tells something of a different story, although with the same main concept and it's rather beautiful.
Also, I'm really enjoying this not working thing.
