Reeve has not been bothering us for breakfast. This is partly because it's summer, partly because Bea sometimes feeds him and maybe because he's getting food from elsewhere. The vet's scales will answer this question in a month or two.

There was a session of 100 Secrets a couple of weeks ago (name corrections appreciated

bateleur!). It went something like:

Our plan was this: Step 1 - Steal Dashii Charms, Step 3 - Kill the worms! So, about Step 2...
We investigated the Tower (the Pathfinders Guild) again and Aeryn (quisalan) found a strange but powerful object that reacted to people holding Dashii charms. We thought it might work as a weapon.
We learned a little more about the history and discovered that the worm-faction didn't like witchcraft. At all. (And also from the histories, I think, I've a note about a Lord Calvey 30-40 years ago which I believe might be when things started getting really bad here.)
We convinced Guwit's contact (Jionais) to help us in the form of information and some people. She told us that the thing from the tower was a Witch Heart which could be used to heal the lands. She explained that the worms have four types - the usual ones, the psychic ones, the Warriors and a Queen.
We remembered the crystal and practiced with its powers.
We headed underground. We got attacked, both mentally and physically as we headed West. Neddra and Carlos (shadowjon) got badly hit mentally and took sanity losses whilst Aeryn and Rat (leathellin) took physical damage. The Queen turned out to have three eyes that were the points to hit. She eventually went down and we destroyed her eggs. I made a portal to the West Gate above.
Andreid, one of the people who helped us asked us to help him take out the prince as a step towards establishing better rulership. Our main contact left (amid suggestions that she wasn't human in the same way as the others - she had already told us she wasn't a city dweller).
We now have some mopping up, some sanity issues and that animal issue in the north still to do.

Today I am at home because it is a celebration of the Queen's Official Birthday.
