Kew and Warhammer 40K

It feels as though it has been a busy month, but looking back in my calendar I do not have a great many updates to write of the usual format.
The month has included visiting Kew Gardens with
bateleur on a mild and somewhat sunny day.

I have also given blood (my 26th visit). In half-term week I attended the Planetfall launch and had dinner in Tas (and would recommend the set menu).
I have been reading on the train, but it has mostly been re-reading. I have been playing computer games, but some are ones I've played before and, as for the two new ones - Midnight Horror and Star Wars: The Old Republic - I'm not finished yet. Similarly, we're watching the first season of Orphan Black but are only about a third of the way through.
In terms of roleplaying, there has been one game - Warhammer 40K (Vibius group) with
ao_lai,
chrestomancy and
bateleur. The group managed to encounter the party that had landed next to the underwater Armada and captured or killed them all. They are also aware that a Navigator family has an interest in the site and a relation of one of Vibius' former acolytes has asked them to sort out matters relating to the Church's involvement. Finally, having looked again at the Armada's structure, the group are convinced that there is something else in the water that they needed to find.
Oh, and work is entering busy period.

Date: 2015-11-10 01:38 pm (UTC)Your post does not really do justice to the complex web of motives, interests, connections and secrets that just about everybody we've met on this planet is a part of. I need better notes (and bigger guns).
