A Golden Wake - computer game

I recently played and finished A Golden Wake which is a point-and-click game set in the 1920s in Florida and published by Wadget Eye Games. I've written a review on GameFAQs (here). It's available on Steam and I bought it last time it was in a sale (it cost me £3.29).
The short version? The creator has clearly done their historical research and the results - graphics, sound and historical characters - capture the feel of the times beautifully. The game itself is reasonable, has some good mechanics and decent puzzle arrangements; however, it sometimes suffers from the difficulties of playing the protagonist's bad decisions as well as their good ones. That said, it's a fairly smooth five hours of play (although that estimate assumes you don't get stuck) and I'd recommend it to Wadget Eye fans.
