Folded Edge

lathanyIt's been a busy weekend. Today was lots of different bits and pieces of things I had lined up. I've cooked jam tarts with Ryan and heard Bea's lines (she's got the part of Narrator in the school production of Peter Pan). bateleur and finished off my chapter for Thursday's Writers' Triangle (meaning this is probably the most ahead I'll be for months). I've also done the usual washing and ironing and Sunday things.
Yesterday we had the first Folded Edge session for seven months. Needless to say, the first half was spent trying to remember what we had been doing and why. We concluded:
Finally we moved off and promptly visited Gambit as that was our route. We learned that we were famous for saving a life of those left to die after a ship hijack. Plus two of the criminals had been recaptured on our information. We then planned to go on to Persephone as it was the way onwards. However, we ended up stopping at the military base after receiving an "invitation". There Reagan was told she'd been identified and made an offer. So she's now the first of the crew to have picked a side. We also learned a third criminal had been killed (although by those she had allied with). Also we finally have a lead on Alvin (Helios).
From there our stay at Persephone was brief, but enabled Treasure to check on New Baby Dealer and for Maravian to fit a white space scanner to the All That Glitters. From Persephone we headed to Holandje (or however it is spelled - I'd check but Reeve is on my lap) where we're ready to start the next session. Well, as ready as we ever are.

- We wanted to find out who was funding the rebels - but had no obvious access to that information.
- We wanted to find Alvin Black and the Greenwitch, but had lost the trail.
- We could try to relocate the six convicts, but frankly we had no plan for if we found them.
- And most importantly - our loyalties were spread on both sides for the likely war ahead. The only thing we agreed on as a group was that we didn't want it to happen.
