Warhammer 40K: Today's session

That went rather well. All the characters are still alive. The players (ao_lai, chrestomancy and bateleur) all said that they enjoyed it.

Summary of events:

• Space Marines turn up (Sons of Orar)
• Group investigates the Grandfather Spire
• Group returns to the mines, finds child bodies and second area
• Arrival of the Black Ship
• (Dead) Inquisitor Novus Kasky declared a heretic and Kasky family arrested
• Find a third area in the mines and Chaos Marine armour in the tombs
• Arick Kasky's assassination
• Killing the assassin
• Black ship landing cargo

And in particular, what was almost certainly a second suit of the five suits originally reported missing.

In fact I'm starting to think the only reason we found one in the base at all was because it was damaged in some way and the others are all in use...

I was more concerned that that suit was actually a seventh suit, and in fact every 'tomb' on that second level might have another suit in it...
