This evening, for the first time in more than a week, Bea got her story. We read to her (and Ryan) any evening when they are ready for bed in good time. However, Christmassy stuff has pushed back bedtime and story time hasn't happened since the festive period really got under way. So, after much whinging yesterday, I decided to make it happen this evening barring major problems.

And it did. I read them roughly two-thirds of a chapter of The Ogre Downstairs. Bea is loving it.
