My parents have come and gone. I made a (birthday) lemon cake including a filling which I think must be some version of home made lemon curd (dunno, just followed the recipe) which leaked out all over the place. It was still nice to eat though.

The duo got a second birthday out of the experience - presents and cake and candles.
