Rather a lot of episodes since last time.

Summary (mostly a list of where everyone's now got to): Peter has rescued Angela from capture and both are standing at the top of the Statue of Liberty. Nathan has been seen flying by Danko and afterwards rescued Claire (who lost her free pass, presumably when he was shown to have powers). Matt watches Daphne die with Mohinder after Rebel frees Tracey and she gets them out of captivity. Rebel is revealed as Micah and Tracey dies after she saves him (following her guilt at setting him up, not knowing his identity). Ando and Hiro rescue baby Matt and Hiro appears to have regained time stop (although it's not clear yet what the scope of his powers now are or whether he always needs baby Matt's help). Sylar has left his (real-hopefully!) father to die and is apparently leaving Danko gifts in his apartment (although it's not definite that Eric Doyle was from him).

General comments: Fugitives has a nice premise (in particular, it isn't about preventing some dark future someone has seen), but is making rather dull watching. I think, primarily, because it's lacking a grand plot (and I don't count the catch everyone / free everyone stand off). Also, no-one appears to have a grand plan - I maean, what did Nathan think would happen? Does Angela have a plan other than "have Noah as a double agent"? Did Peter/Matt/Mohinder have anything beyond "drug Bennet"? Even Rebel (best moment when he turned out to be Micah) only seemed to be working on a case by case basis. On the plus side, the characters seem much more solid and season-one, if you regard Nathan's original "hunt 'em down" plan as a curiousity left over from Villains. Also, the continuity seems rather better.

Continuity errors and other weirds: Fewer in here I would say; although Janice's baby seems to change fathers every season.

Good/OK things:
- Micah as Rebel.
- Noah Bennet, lots more morally gray.
- Tracey because they made her different to Niki.
- They've finally nailed down Sylar's father (and he's a git).
- The new version of Peter's power (wonder if they'll stick with it).
- Angela's reaction to the new situation of her family members.
- Matt, as usual.
- Hiro/Ando (although there should be more).
- Sandra / Claire as a rescue duo.
- That Peter has become much more competent (with the video footage, for example) - perhaps too much so to still be in character!
- The drugging of Noah (echoes of the drugging of Matt from season one).
- The taxi ride of Mohinder/Peter (ditto).
- How Daphne's death was shown.

Bad/less OK things:
- That no-one has a grand plan.
- That Nathan thought it was a good idea.
- That the President re-employed Danko when Nathan turned out to be dodgy as well.
- That within about five episodes Peter is again pointing a gun at someone and you know he's going to have trouble pulling the trigger.
- Sylar is still horribly over-powered even though they've toned down Hiro and Peter.
- That many of the good things are echoes of season one rather than exciting new stuff in themselves.
- The wedding; I liked the idea of how Hiro could still be a hero, but the wedding itself seemed too random and untied to any other thread.

So, some worse stuff and some improvements. As per usual, I haven't seen further than I've reviewed.

Noah Bennet, lots more morally gray.

I read that as morally gay. Oh, the disappointment.

Still, ding dong, Daphne's dead.

I have 6 episodes of season 4 waiting to be watched. I'm a little scared to open that can.

Yes. Although I liked her slightly better by the time that happened. Also, have you noticed how they've no longer got any characters other than the ones in season one? You'd think that one of the characters from two or three would have been good enough to keep on as a main (they need to up their game when creating new characters)!

I might say a bit more when I've seen the end of the season. However, I'm pleased that season hasn't hit the BBC yet, as there's a chance I'll be able to watch it now that I'm finishing three.

I quite liked Danko in this. I found him a nice alternative bad guy to Sylar, and a different challenge for the good guys.

Hmm. I think I mostly agree. I hate him in the right way, so the writers got that right. I think the main issue I have is that I can't see him being serious competition the moment someone who can pull the trigger takes him on. And that's a serious problem for a bad guy in this series.
