Today was the first day of advent - and this year's calendar is rather more religious than usual.

In other news, Emily has delusions about whether she fits in the jigsaw box she's using as a bed. And the box is suffering.

I'm usually opposed to chocolate advent calendars, but mine this year came from Belgium, so my first door revealed a truffle with a white chocolate coating :-)

I opened door one today, and my calendar is suffering from a printing error. I got the bottom half of a trumpet tootling golden notes, and the top half of something blueish (currently not recognised). I fear this is going to be a rather fractured Advent.
