Apparently my parents' next door neighbour (a retired teacher) was round for the afternoon today. She and Beatrice decided to play a pencil and paper game. Pam made a mistake and Beatrice told her she must concentrate on what she was doing!

I was told that people tend to lose many of their friends when they have children. I'm starting to see why.
