lathanyAll the windows are now open and Christmas has arrived.
I've eaten too much, drunk too much and opened plenty of presents. My new hoard includes books (eg. A Perfect Circle, Cloud Atlas, Thud!), a computer game, chocolates, new gold earrings, Body Shop goodies and a LotR 2006 calendar. We're over half-way through the Cambridge visit but only a couple of days into my holiday leave. I've plenty of time off still to go, which is good 'cos I've also got plenty of things to do with it.
My plans for the holiday include:
i. Reviewing and editing Fourth (also tentatively known as The Old English Gentleman) so that it can go to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bateleur and then off to agents and publishers.
ii. Finishing off my ICESP preparations - most of which are now a case of finalising PCs. Then I can schedule a first session.
iii. Writing up a Principal Record entry for the last session of The Wheel.
iv. Tidying.
v. Putting plans together for Fifth (Book Five).
vi. Writing some sort of review of 2005 for LJ.
Also there will be sprog-care and little trips out for walks and playgrounds. I think that the nicest things about kids is the unconditional love (well, apart from cupboard love) and the un-cynical excitement. The nastiest things are poo and lack of lie ins. Such is my life.
