Phone moments and March starts

The Telewest repairman has just departed. Hopefully that'll be all our remaining phone problems solved. Yesterday we couldn't ring out, but he's waved a magic wand (which looked like a screwdriver) and now we can. I'm back to talking to people again.
The twins will be heading Cambridgewards tomorrow. Yep, it's another twinless week approaching. It'll be a busy one too; with plans to finally have
triskellian and
smiorgan over for dinner (first discussed in March last year, I think!), seeing
cuthbertcross and
dr_bob's new place, a day trip (or not) with
frax and
cardinalsin plus plans both to go out for a meal (general "we can"ness) and to stay in for a Valentine's Day meal.
Speaking of which, never have I see a day so lambasted on LJ. Yeah, I know people who dislike Christmas, Easter, Halloween (etc, etc) but Valentine's Day outweighs them all in terms of strength of bashing and period of time devoted to it (I was reading anti-Valentine entries back in mid-January for ****'s sake)! LJ has made me more aware of Valentine's Day this year than anything on TV or in the shops.
Roleplayingwise I'm in the process of getting ICESP started with first stories (preludy things) back to two of the players. With luck, I'll have the first session sometime next month. March will also be the launch month for Patchwork Universe (the real game). I'm keeping Dr Jewel and Burial Village although both might change somewhat in the interim; however it looks like Dr Odom will no longer be around (shame!).
Finally, I'm hoping to actually start writing book four next week.

Date: 2005-02-11 02:19 pm (UTC)Telewest's online problem report form actually allowed us to book a repair without the aid of a 30 minute phonecall. Problem reported yesterday at around 7pm, repair completed this afternoon. How cool is that ?
