Small things can produce smaller things
Jan. 13th, 2005 02:26 pmBea has been playing with the computer (again). Consequently LJ, the default page and half a dozen other things are now in a much smaller font size. I don't know how she does it. However, explanations of how to change it back (which I assume will include a reboot) appreciated. I've already checked the "Display" stuff and it doesn't seem to have what I want.
Parent and Toddler group this morning was a bit of a surprise. It was Femmy's (not quite sure how his name is spelt) birthday party and the usual state of affairs is that Bea eats and eats until I drag her away from the table whilst Ryan has half a biscuit, gets bored and then retreats to a quiet corner with a toy. However, today, Ryan ate more food than he usually gets through in a week. And afterwards he was playing with the other kids (no, really!). I was pleased. And stunned.
Afterwards I took them to Tesco (our usual, daily, visit) and, on arriving home, our "Bag for Life" (the life of what exactly?) split in a new way. The handle came off. Quick thinking (OK, mostly because I still had hold of the other handle) saved me from littering my shopping across the doorstep. However, I think I prefer the old fashioned way of dying where all the holes appear in the bottom. Slowly.
