See Fworrie!
Aug. 27th, 2004 02:04 pmMid-week a parcel arrived (many thanks to
killalla - twas much appreciated!). As a direct consequence of this, during the following installment of "Beatrice, Mummy and Florrie", Florrie's topknot began to twitch...
I can feel a twinkling,
I can hear a sound,
It's telling me there's something,
Waiting to be found!
Where is it?
Where is it?
What could it be?
I think it might be over there,
Let's go and see-eee!
And, over in the red basket, Florrie found Baby Pom!
Bea, being a two-year-old, instantly demanded Pom. Now the game is a two-puppet event (and if I ever relocate Fimbo, it'll be three!) and the dialogue has becomemore complex longer.
In other bathroom news, potty training has begun. On the one hand, they're not really getting the idea; on the other, at least neither of them are scared of the potty (apparently, not an unusual occurrence).
Their language skills are improving, although they use it for different things. Beatrice uses it to communicate and demand food (apparently baked beans are boy beans and smarties are girl beans). Ryan, however, uses it to label things, count things, read books to himself and to declare whenever he can hear a car or plane.
And as for me? I'm looking forward to the next baby-free week.
