I'm not going to write a long review of the last session. I've mostly been producing them for "plot solving" reasons and there ain't a plot to solve no more. However the important points were :

1. We won!
2. The party all survived (ie. those who began the final session alive).
3. We found the Mantars and brought them to attack the Fourth.
4. We travelled outside of Monde (and found a bunch of useful stuff which came from Monde).
5. We completed the circuit for a second time (Imogen gained another two inches).
6. We finally discovered that not all of the School of Secrets were b*st*rds.
7. Demons get too many dice.

Looking back, my top ten memorable things were:

1. Ghol making and stealing the Mandala Key.
2. Sable's death at the hands of the Fourth.
3. The destruction of the Walled Stone.
4. Servi's sage speech poem.
5. Discovering that the Speaker of Tie Hakankeer needed to be chained to a wall because of Weapon.
6. The dreams (my personal favourite was my 'WAR!!!' one).
7. Guessing that the Mantar was in the First Cache (even if I was talked out of it later).
8. The hole in the cache fiasco.
9. Gaining the coins from Jeden.
10. Dungeon-bashing on the Moon (including the destruction of Galeen).

Monde goes into joint first of "my favourite campaigns" (alongside Robomancer).

We finally discovered that not all of the School of Secrets were b*st*rds.

I'm not convinced.

Ahem. Some of us knew all along that the SoS weren't all b*st*rds, but weren't allowed to explain. It's hardly the fault of the nice part that the nasty part picked on you ;-)

The nice part were also bastards, is my contention.

We could go over this for hours, debating who did or didn't try to manipulate the whole world for their own nefarious ends, and fail to step in with anything resembling useful help until the last minute (or after the last minute, if you happen to be Sable or the Squire), but let's just agree we were both in the wrong and call it quits.

I get the impression that there was a whole conversation on this topic that I just wasn't involved in.

Is this a car journey thing?

Nah, it's a slightly off Simpsons quote - Homer fails to collect Bart from football practice, leaving him sitting in a thunderstorm for some time. When he finally remembers, he tries to make things up with Bart by saying something like 'we could argue about who forgot to pick up whom, but let's just agree we're both in the wrong...'
