And more boxes

This is a dark blue crate, with a pile of papers flowing out of the top. Inside are a couple of consoles with assorted games, although not all of them are in the right boxes.
Further down is one of the Settlers family, a "chocolate cookery" book, even more paper - this time covered with graphs, a mobile phone (battery dead) and a temperamental laptop.
Box 4
Back to the wooden chests... this one is made of ebony and lined with thick purple velvet. There are a number of scratches on the handle, but you have to look carefully to see them.
Inside is a large range of fiction from this year's Booker shortlist to a collection of children's "school years" series'. There is also a small Lara Croft figure, a fountain pen, half a bottle of red wine, a tobacco tin (which you decide to leave unopened) and a blank tax return.
Box 5
The last box is a Victorian hope chest, in the process of being renovated. Inside a dark red silk scarf has been put in as a temporary lining.
There is a collection of speculative fiction books, some Sandman graphic novels and the complete Winnie the Pooh. There is also a tin of home-made cookies, a toy ball with a bell inside and a broken modem.
