Fear not, it's not as bad as the time I failed to recognise ealuscerwen at a party and addressed her as a complete stranger, just because she had slightly different hair. I wasn't even drunk.
(I have some sort of facial dyslexia, I think. For the first year of school I could only recognise people by their clothes, and they were inconsiderate enough to *wear different clothes every day*! Gah!)
