The New Mother and Toddler Group
Feb. 4th, 2004 12:42 pmThings learned today :
1. The second verse to "Incy Wincy Spider".
2. How difficult it can be to move with a toddler attached to one leg.
3. One biscuit and Bea is anyone's.
4. How much a mere two hour toddler group can wear a pair of twins out.
5. Bea has universal appeal (most likely to be voted "sweetest natured toddler of the group").
5. Double tricycles don't work.
6. That overalls really can keep a toddler paint-free (but not their mother).
And this group appears to be mainly childminders. The other one was almost entirely parents.

Date: 2004-02-04 06:21 am (UTC)I'd swear I used to know this. But googling for "Incy Wincy spider" I can only find the first four lines (Incy climbs up, gets flooded, the sun comes out, and he does it again). And under "Insy Winsy spider", I'm getting mainly ringtones.
Re:
Date: 2004-02-04 06:42 am (UTC)Incy Wincy Spider climbs the garden shed
Down comes the snow and freezes poor Incy's head
Out comes the sun to melt up all the snow
Then Incy Wincy Spider has another go
And - good point about the spelling.
