Angel Review

bateleur rightly said, reminiscent of the old Flash Gordon cliffhangers. Last week he seemed to be doomed, this week you barely notice the problem before he solves it and moves on. Or up.
However, the rest was great. The resolution of why the blood didn't work on Connor, the gang stuck in the cage (both for their lines and for Gunn's determination to break it), Angel dealing with the Keeper, Jasmine's TV debut and Jasmine's demise. Connor's talk with Cordy wasn't the greatest - but Connor's had a bad role and bad lines all season (for instance - all the talk of lies; the Angel Investigation team really didn't lie to him very much).
Actually killing Jasmine in this episode (assuming she doesn't do a Caleb) was a nice touch, as was Lilah's return (although I spotted her in the opening credits). And the final episode will be dealing with Connor it seems. Pity about the Sky One spoilers though (see my remarks of two weeks ago on the subject).
I noticed that the Buffy episode was Amends which I assume means that Angel won the vote. The runner-up will be a more interesting contest, although I imagine Spike will probably get it. As for the girls though, is there any doubt that Willow will win ? Again, the runner-up will be the more interesting part.
In other news, it seems to have cooled down out there so the twins are more cheerful. Plus I have all the spaghetti carbonara ingredients for this evening.
