lathanyToday was Roo and Stef's wedding. It wasn't the greatest day for it, being the hottest day of the year so far (about 32 degrees C), and there was much drinking of water.
They got married at the Registry Office yesterday and Warlock did the ceremony today.
The day was arrival (Pimms / Cordial), ceremony, meal and then later it was to be cake, dancing, light supper and more dancing. Except we bailed not long after the meal. It was a good meal (fish starter, buffet dinner, cheesecake) but I've never seen so much left-over wine before.
It was nice to see everyone. The Best Person's (Rhi's) speech was excellent. And the couple were very happy.
