I don't know why, but Near Dark seems to be coming up a lot lately. I think the first time I saw it was probably its first run on cable, and I thought it was pretty good. Of course, it had Bishop in it! (AKA Lance Henriksen.) I haven't seen it in years, but I remember comparing it favorably with Lost Boys, which was around the same time.
