Ah, now, I must admit that I've not seen Man on Fire, and I agree that the smugness rather fitted the part in Training Day.

I'll have to review his past body of work that I've seen: Hmm. One imdb search later... The Bone Collector, Remember the Titans, American Gangster (again I accept some smugness might fit), The Manchurian Candidate (dear Hollywood, please have the courage to make some new films, rather than just remaking old films that really don't need remaking, kthxbye), The Taking of Pelham 123 (dear Hollywood, please see my previous parentheses).

Nope, I'm sure there's pretty much something smug about him in all of those, at least to my eyes.

I will say that I appreciate him accepting some villain roles as well as hero roles. I do like that in casting.

And whple Im at it, dear LJ please allow me to edit comments so I can fix those dumb typoes, smelling erris and sich aftrr Ive possted.
