I just about made it through these series, but I'm not sure I was enjoying it much any more. There were some good points though.
Danko was great. He should have been the series 2 villain. Heroes on the run from the state would have been a much better concept than saving the world one more time...
The Petrelli family were good too. I like mob films, so evil Italian guys in suits works for me.
But on the downside - it was really starting to feel like we were going round in circles, and that some actors were contracted in for too many series. So Nikki dies and is replaced with Jessica and it turns out there's a third one, just in case. And Sylar still isn't dead - and worse - we're supposed to start empathising with him. Noah gets shot - and isn't dead (or was that series 2?), Peter isn't dead (but has had his powers rewritten to prevent the world breaking), and so on...
But the one moment in this that really put me off the series was Claire making it to the front of the airplane, all ready to find out who was behind the kidnapping only to find - Noah. An utterly predictable surprise that said 'We're going to keep writing about Claire's relationship with her dad as long as we're on the air. Because it worked in series 1 and we don't dare change.'
The ending also sucked. Yet another failure to kill Sylar. The death of a principle but a stubborn refusal to get rid of the actor. That was the moment they pole vaulted an entire aquarium of sharks. It's the reason I've got nothing to say about season 4...
