Summer holiday - Center Parcs

We've had a lovely few days doing many of the usual things. The falconry, as ever, was my favourite, but the crazy golf and the pottery painting were pretty good too. The meal out on the Wednesday - pub food (burger and chips) included two rather excellent cocktails (Pink Gin Spritz and Passionfruit Martini).



Also we did well with the weather - no rain (after the arrival day) and no sunburn.

Blood cancelled

I was booked to give blood today. I wasn't particularly looking forward to the walk in the current baking heat (particularly as it was a midday appointment), but at least it wasn't very far. Then, just under an hour before my appointment, they cancelled me "due to staffing issues". I think, on balance, I'm relieved.
