Wahammer 40K - yesterday's Vibius session

I'm very behind on writing things up. I'm going to start with yesterday's Warhammer 40K game because I still remember it, and then attempt things further back.

Events went something like this for Roth (chrestomancy), Urlban (bateleur) and Tiberius Locke (ao_lai):

• The party watched/let Inquisitor Tolanil leaves with her people back to The Wasp.
• The party also planned to join the ship, but Eloise had read the Imperial tarot and said they must wait for someone important from the planet. This turned out to be Nerissa Faerwald who was the daughter of a former Inquisitor (Vale Orthewer)
• Also, the party decided to investigate the Place of Twisted Dreams. Within it, they discover a huge (building-sized) dead Tyranid. They also discover two underground temples dedicated to Tzeentch and spotted that something was missing from one of them.
• They were then collected by another Obasnil Navigator family ship, The Divine Thesis which took them to met with the full Navigator fleet, including the returned Inquisitor Vibius (and Innos). The reunited party transferred to the Darilium which the Novator (Saffor) was aboard.
• They began to follow the path of the Saint in the reverse order. This involved finding a system with a Dead Hive Ship orbited by two Chaos Ships and an Imperial Ship (Holy Determination). The system had within it a large solid planet (6th), Gas giant (5th), Agriworld (3rd) and a small imperial world (2nd).
• From the logs the party discovered that the ship spotted the Hive Ship closer to the sun and followed it. Then it was preparing to flee when a Chaos fleet jumped in. It received messages from Alanius before that point. In addition, a dead Chaos Librarian was on the bridge.
• From there, they went back another step and arrived at Jihator with its eight moons: Danburite, Larimar, Zircon, Sphene, Coral, Melanite, Jasper and Chrysocolla. The planet itself was bombarded to destroy Chaos (Slanesh). The moons hold a force of Imperial Guard, the Jihator Watchers (Captain Omolara Rooke).
• The group flew down to the surface where Alanius had stood at the end of the planet's evacuation. They found a recently visited room with an Eldar lock and an Eldar bowl which shows a navigation chart.

And there's plenty more of the path of the Saint to go!

Warhammer 40K - the June Atlinor game

The other group will be a shorter write-up:

• At the start of the session, the party Teneu (quisalan), Eli (chrisvenus) and Marcus Vex (Alistair) were stranded on an Ice World. Above them, in orbit a battle raged between Chaos and Tyranids.
• Gabriel sent the party coordinates. These turned out to be to an Eldar facility which had a screen that could show the battle above. He also left a message about other ships on the planet's surface holding Tyranids.
• The party went to the other coordinates and blew up the ships, after taking data from the Imperial one.
• The characters then went onto the final set of coordinates that Gabriel had given them which turned out to be an entry point to the Eldar Webway. The party used this to reach another planet - Magourick.
• After some negotiation, Gabriel took them on the Gate of Light to an Imperial island world named Bearmyn. There the party began to reestablish itself and make contact with The Silver Dancer and the Inquisition.

I'll need to start scheduling again now.
