A Dedicated Follower of Fashion
Jan. 14th, 2005 10:05 amI don't usually follow fashions. In fact, the few occasions I ever have (since secondary school) were all probably accidents. So, yesterday I was amused to notice a report on the BBC website about decluttering and how it was the latest thing. And, yes, I'm doing this latest thing. OK, so far this has only involved sorting through our videos and freeing up a whole bookshelf (already re-filled), but it still counts. Besides, the house really, really needs it. And whilst in that clearing-up phase, I've finally got around to updating the twins' scrapbooks giving preference to work that actually appears to be done by them (as opposed to many of Ryan's playgroup pieces which are suspiciously neat and tidy).
Speaking of the duo, Ryan and Bea have received an invitation to a birthday party at the end of the month. Their first birthday party ('cos the ones held at Parent and Toddler groups don't really count). The parents in question haven't yet decided what it'll involve, but it'll be at their house and, I guess, I should buy a birthday present for the boy in question (Livtar - his third birthday). I suspect there may be more to follow as well; the January-March period always seems very birthday heavy.
