Teddy Bear
Dec. 7th, 2004 10:46 amToday's window is just about passable in a "this is a present" sort of way.
chrestomancy rang yesterday. He and TheHattedOne are in New Mexico enjoying museums, day trips and other touristy stuff. They're thinking about arranging to do something a little more long term (eg. a few days learning horse riding or similar) rather than the day outings which they're currently occupied with, but this may not happen of course. I filled them in on the news (not much) and talked twins at them. I'll hear from Martin again at Christmas when I'm back in Cambridge.
Today has already been busy. I've put the Christmas tree back up (Ryan had pulled it down) and finally removed all the decorations which can be taken apart (four of them). I've dropped the duo off at playgroup, cleaned the bedroom window, put on the washing and answered the door to a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses (one of whom was deaf, the other translating for her).
And the first Christmas card arrived today (from my former work colleague, Ruth) along with universal news letter. I'm not a big fan of such letters (selfish so-and-so that I am), but it's better than no news at all and was entertaining rather than being a list of achievements for the year.
