Little Things

lathanyThe duo visited the doctor nurse today for their four year old injections. The first one seemed to be more or less painless but the second one left them both in tears (but the lollipop rewards helped matters along). So that's that until they reach fourteen when, I imagine, they'll both be taller than me (and probably still better about needles).
I also managed to sort out a lot of little jobs; paying off my Christmas credit card bill, visiting the family planning clinic and completing my Principal Record entry for The Wheel in preparation for this weekend's session (starring![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bluedevi, chrestomancy and TheHattedOne). If I get my act together it might be a session involving mulled wine. On the writing side, I've completed the first half of the Fourth editing, so it'll be going over to bateleur fairly soon (and I can start planning Fifth). And ICESP will be launched just as soon as I get session dates together. (<glares at chrestomancy>)
There was one disappointment in the day; I'd spotted a pair of trousers on the Marks and Spencer website last weekend that would have been perfect for work (and in about the only style that fit me). However, being on twin duty at the time, I didn't order them on the spot. Sadly, they've now gone - the Spring collection has replaced them. :-(
