My First Shelf
Oct. 8th, 2004 06:58 amIt looks like a shelf. It even holds folders and things without collapsing. And I did it. Admittedly, under almost constant supervision, but I did the work. Oh, and I can smugly cross that one off my list of things I really ought to do this week.
On the less virtuous side,
bateleur and I have finally finished Gauntlet : Dark Legacy right to the very end. I enjoyed it and can recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the original game. OK, it doesn't have a great deal of variation, but some of the later levels are very impressive (I liked Dream Realm in particular) and it is finishable.
Now I have to vacuum up plaster dust. However, a short trip out to the Post Office first, I think.

Date: 2004-10-08 02:17 pm (UTC)Yeah, it's part of the Twins' Rights Charter. You have to leave it a while to give them fair chance to grind it into the carpet :) Vacuuming up straight away is just plain unsporting. I think on Fridays you have to leave a cup of coffee near the edge of a surface, too.
Happy New Shelf.
