Taking milk from a baby

Beatrice has made the first move down that path which leads to the first "twin's possessions fight". She tried to take Ryan's milk bottle after she had finished her own breakfast. Needless to say she wasn't successful, not least because Dom stopped her very quickly. However this is a sign of things to come.

Fallen Star has finally been processed. The turnsheets have gone out, the web pages have been updated and the new mailing list has been sent out (hopefully all the players can see it). I'm back in the (mostly) quiet period again before the next turnsheet deadline.

Plus, it is Halloween. We got our first set of trick-or-treaters last night and Dom gave them smarties.

Re: struggles for limited resources

I'm sure it'll breed a fine competative urge. I have a suspicious that, despite the fundamentally laid-back natures of both their parents, Bea and Ryan are both going to be CEOs somedays. Or dictators of small countries.

You had trick-or-treaters last night? On October 30? That's so wrong, although proactive on the parts of the kids.

CEOs ?

Kids always rebel against their parents. Making Ryan a footballer and Beatrice a model (or an executive of the company that produces Barbie). And both members of the Conservative party (or the National Front).

On the trick-or-treaters front there is even a rumour of a group of kids that do four or five nights (out of 29th, 30th, Halloween, All Saints, All Souls) so as to maximise their chocolate intake.

Dawn.

You get away with giving them chocolate? They aren't trying all that hard if they can be fobbed off with anything short of cold hard cash...
