Monde

After a couple of quiet months, another Monde (Swordsmaster) game finally occurred. The bad news was that we were missing Becky (Sable), the good news was that it was an interesting session.

We finally rescued Voaz (our original quest-providing person); with surprising ease and a lot of help. We took him back to Sage Central, then dithered over what to do next. Much of the discussion centred on 'What is the Black Scroll of Origin' (after all we have a perfectly good White Scroll of Origin) ? It was rather upsetting that even the powerful Oracles of the Moon appeared to be prevented from telling us much about it. We also decided we wanted to go to the big 'important person' conference; wherever and whenever it is. Plus there is a strong possibility that we will get the chance to change characters in the not so distant future.

Ryan tried to make a strong case for having a babysitter for future sessions by wailing and rampaging almost continually. Beatrice was quiet and smiling. She would have won a 'perfect baby' award if not for the dribbling. Plus I think she tried to eat Corinne's shoe at one point.

And I don't think my hair looks blonde any more, whatever the rest of the players say.

You can tell it was a busy day when...

...one of the Lords of Tointier is seen outside the city for the first time in five generations and it doesn't even make it to your session summary !

Unfairly maligning Ryan!

We all thought he was just being entertaining. Well, I did, anyway. Especially the car noises over GM descriptions. Added atmosphere, I thought ;-)

It's good to see them, even if they're not supposed to be the main attraction!
