That Belated Athory Write-Up

Better late than never... possibly.

The party began from the point where they knew what the previous treaty had said and were wondering what to do about it.

There was debate and investigation. This included :
* Looking at the map in Irika's Tower to determine whether there was any observable object on the newly-raised island of Teriaja which might account for the sinking.
* Hearing battle reports from Orbassa Spires (the King's forces - under the command of Lawrence/Malthen - defeated Louise's army) and Varitor Stones (the King's army - under the command of King Imharn - conquered the city and defeated Duke Yarrow's defenders).
* Hearing suspicions of treachery within Orbassa Spires.
* Attending Duchess Louise's audience with Duke Fulton's messenger where she was presented with a copy of the Lirrisorn Treaty.
* Hearing how the High Island forces had scored a victory over the Lirrisorn.
* Asking Elias about the Duchy of Oak and, in particular, whether there were any obvious and likable candidates to replace Duke Valentin.

Given the threats to the land from the King, Malthen and the Lirrisorn, the party decided that organising a rebellion in the Duchy of Oak was the way to go. This involved :
* Deciding who should go to Nalor Clearing (the capital). Tengath, Gref, Heleth and Taronus all went; Bryanna and Roland stayed behind.
* Exploring the city. Gref talked to street urchins and climbed roof tops whilst Tengath did things the good, old fashioned way (ie. by magic).
* Finding a replacement leadership. This involved locating the city's Rogue Stones meeting place (The Fox and the Pit) and then talking the leaders (Bertha and Nickolan) into the rebellion (again by using magic).
* Holding a city meeting where the people of the city were persuaded into joining the rebellion (yep, more magic).
* Storming the court. Heleth opened the doors with Leonides' keys and Gref emptied the dungeons. Elias arranged for the remaining Lords and Ladies to be taken out of action (with drugs rather than magic).
* Roland and Bryanna providing (telepathic) advice that the army was on its way home (using the Irika's Tower map).

OK, muchly summarised this time 'cos I've left it too long. Amendments and additions greatly appreciated.

Oh :(

A write up which doesn't include the classic phrase "it's a revolution, innit?".

I'm disappointed :)
