* Today's mother and toddlers group went well, Beatrice (one biscuit, one piece of apple, one piece of birthday cake) has developed a sandpit obsession. Ryan (half a piece of birthday cake) only spent the last forty minutes of it on my lap.

It's a very common mistake (assuming I'm the "Liz" you called her), so she probably is still talking to you ;-) Makes no sense to me, but I've done it, too (and so has she), and it's now a running joke that we're actually the same person. Hence this icon ;-)
Oh, and is there a gap in that weekend in March to have another go at the snow-spoiled plans?
