Singing in the Rain

Well, maybe there wasn't any singing. Although I can't imagine Ryan going for an entire Tesco trip without at least a verse of "Twinkle, Twinkle".

Have I ever mentioned how stir crazy the twins become when they don't get their daily trip out ? In fact, mostly they get taken out for a shopping trip in the morning and a walk in the evening. This is a great plan, except on those days when it chucks it down with no sign of an end. Never mind, it's over now.

In other news my Christmas present buying is almost completed due to the joys of on-line shopping, although I'm still missing an advent calendar. Anyone know where to get a decent non-chocolate advent calendar ?

And Final Fantasy X-2 now has a release date. It's 13th February 2004. Yippee !

Unhelpfully, yes: that pretty card shop on New Inn Hall Street, next to Culpepper. They have some gorgeous ones.

Yup ;-) Sorry. Also, they're sufficiently expensive that I'm still arguing with myself about buying one.

If I was going to see you before the 1st, I'd write a begging email for a purchase. As it is I think it'll be the 6th at [livejournal.com profile] cuthbertcross and [livejournal.com profile] dr_robs.

Out of interest - how expensive ?

That should, of course, be [livejournal.com profile] dr_bob.

If I was going to see you before the 1st, I'd've offered already ;-) But if you can wait till the party, I'll pick one up for you. They're about a tenner, IIRC. Although maybe it was twenty. My memory. Sieve. Etc.

WHSmiths sometimes does them, but again they're pretty expensive.

If you have a local postoffice, they may be worth trying...?

I think I can't wait (and I see what you mean by pricey). Instead I'll have a look closer to home.

Good idea. I'll go and have a look today.
