Baby teeth

Ryan is growing two more top teeth. Beatrice is working on another bottom one. I am now on day two of the new baby regime which replaces the old "two naps during the day" with one, long nap. So far this is good, except at the end of the day when I face two tired, irritable babies.

Only four more days...

Gibbon Teeth

The Gibbon is unimpressed with your offspring, having 29 teeth of his own. The Gibbon will explain how puny such an achievement is to them in person on The Gibbon's next visit, not to mention the uselessness of teeth for the consumption of bananas.

The Gibbon is, however, jealous of the napping regime which he believes his employer should implement immediately. This may be better received than a 10% pay rise, come to think of it.

The Gibbon also has to face a tired, irritable hairy housemate at the end of the day, and sympathises on this level. The Gibbon's housemate doesn't respond with giggles when playing peekaboo, and is far too heavy for superman-flights.

On the other hand, he can get off the sofa without help.

I would comment sarcastically on that, but it's just entirely too predictable.

Hang on, if you have predicted that it will happen, shouldn't you comment sarcastically on it, in order to prove your own prediction system accurate? Otherwise, it didn't happen, and so was inaccurately predicted.

The Gibbon.

He said it was predictable, not necessarily that it was actually predicted.
